Blue Zoo has partnered with Retail Monster in the UK to accelerate the consumer products programme at retail for Numberblocks, Alphablocks, Colourblocks and Wonderblocks.
Retail Monster will now look to drive retail programmes across the Blocks Universe through market leading activations and increased listings.
The new Blocks Universe umbrella brand has been designed to unite all of the successful Blocks content in one space – with the goal being to offer a ‘bigger, better and truly unified experience’ for children, parents, educators and partners worldwide.
Collectively, the Blocks brands have achieved some 365 episodes, over 32 million YouTube subscribers and nearly 11 billion YouTube views. In addition, the kids’ apps consistently rank in the top 10 charts.
Beyond episodes, Blocks Universe will encompass a comprehensive ecosystem including books, magazines, toys, apps, live shows, plus a complete learning system, establishing itself as a premier destination for educational entertainment and discovery.
Each will retain its distinct identity, while Blocks Universe will provide a powerful collective platform to further amplify the appeal and engage fans in new and exciting ways, complete with its own font, logo and personality.
“We know just how much parents, families and teachers respect and trust the Blocks brands,” commented Oli Hyatt, md of Alphablocks. “Our latest research shows the pent-up demand with over three-quarters of UK teachers already using Blocks Universe in the classroom. Working with Retail Monster, we can unlock the next stage of growth at retail, with both the individual brands and the entire Blocks Universe.”
Karen McNally, licensing director at Blue Zoo Animation, continued: “We are absolutely thrilled to partner with the expert team at Retail Monster to accelerate our retail activity here in the UK. The fact that the team love the brands so much through personal experience in their homes has meant that their enthusiasm has been unmatched and we are delighted that they will be donning to the mantle to raise awareness at retail.
“Our aim has always been to ensure that as many children as possible have access to and benefit from the brands which are invaluable in their teachings of phonics, maths, colour and problem solving.”
Hannah Redler, vp brand licensing and retail development at Retail Monster, added: “Our team are so very excited to work alongside the great team at Blue Zoo to drive incredible retail activations of the beautiful Blocks Universe brands. The Blocks brands are so loved in my own home, and are so special to so many families and schools so we are thrilled to be able to bring this magic to shelves.”
Someone from our team will respond very soon.
